点评:We drove our rental car, a diesel Skoda Octavia estate wagon, from Monza through Ponte Di Legno to the Gavia Pass, en route to the Stelvio Pass. This Pass is not for the faint hearted, especially in a car. It's a two way road, but essentially only one car wide for a fair amount of it, with minimal barriers and sheer drops to the distant valley below. If you're not confident and competent with your car driving abilities DON'T do it. Even I was happy to hit the downhill run which meant wide roads and a less stressful run. My wife was extremely stressed over the top of the mountains but once you're there, there's no turning back. It really isn't designed for large modern cars. I'm sure it'd be more enjoyable on a bike. In saying that, it was one of the best highlights of MY 9 week European trip.
