点评:Coming from bustling Porty, the Titchfield peninsula and especially this spot is an oasis of peace. Online, claims are it is a super high-end yachting port - it is not. Ever seen a yachting port with plastic terrace chairs? I do not care at all - what is way more interesting is the history layers below, that unfortunately is paid way too little attention to in this area. Dow Bakers / Errol Flynns historic Titchfield hotel once towered above this tiny marina. Take a walk to the knoll / beach area in the back with this in mind, on this hallowed grounds the stairs went up to the palace like building with visitors like Marilyn Monroe, Ian Fleming and Winston Churchill. Sooner, it was the birthplace of Caribbean tourism.
That is NOT what this marina exudes, but it is definitely the closest memory of this magnificent history around.

这虽然不是这个码头的特色,但它绝对是这段辉煌历史最贴切的记忆。
