Concert, opera and ballet all in one!!!

点评：Decided that we MUST take in some orchestral music while in the land of music. We were so happy we did. This setting was nice and small (like a gymnasium with fairly comfortable folding concert chairs set up). The residence orchestra was excellent. I love how playfully they got along with each other while performing…lots of smiles and gestures to each other without actually speaking.
The night included two ballet dancers who came out periodically to dance to an a piece as well as two opera singers who sang to a few pieces. It gave us a taste of all three all in one place and for a great price.
I purchased a program but wouldn’t recommend. I didn’t have much time to read through it and it was large and cumbersome. We paid for good seats but all the seats in the house are excellent seats so I wouldn’t worry too much about paying for more expensive seats to be honest. It said the concert would be 1 1/2 hrs with a 10 minute intermission but there was no intermission which I was quite happy of. It’s amazing how quickly the hour and a half goes by.
Centrally located (not far from the State Opera House and nice and close to some good restaurants so you can book dinner and concert in the same evening.
