点评:It is hard to find enough positive things to say about the amazing Viking ship museum at Roskilde. We took a 30-minute train journey out there from Copenhagen and then a 25 minute walk from Roskilde station to the museum itself. Inside are the remains of five Viking ships which were sunk with stones in Viking times to block a channel and prevent attack. We took an interesting 45-minute guided tour of the ships and also watched a helpful film which explained more about them. Around the museum were other objects and explanatory panels about Viking shipbuilding. But the real thrill was to step outside the museum and walk down to the boatyard where replicas of Viking ships were being constructed right in front of your eyes. We watched people using authentic techniques to build the boats and even had the opportunity to climb on board one of them. You could also actually sail in a Viking boat if you wanted. The whole place made for an extremely interesting half day out and was one of our highlights of a short break in Copenhagen
