Classic lambic brewery!

点评：Cantillon is just outside of the city center and when walking to the brewery, we thought maybe we were in the wrong place. Luckily, when we arrived, there was a sign on the large metal door stating that yes, they were open. We went inside and did the self-guided tour, then enjoyed a tasting of the lambic, gueuze, and Rose de Gambrinus (raspberry gueuze). The self-guided tour probably took us about 30 minutes - the perfect amount of information without losing our interest. We especially liked that in the back of the booklet, it told more about many of their beers, so we also ordered a bottle of the Cuvee Saint-Gilloise, which is a hoppy gueuze. I will say, you can get some Cantillon beers (like the gueuze and kriek) at other places in the city, so if you don't care about the history or trying some of the more unique beers you could probably save yourself the trip and stay in the city center, but we really found the history of this brewery and style of brewing interesting.
