点评:We visited whilst visiting the space centre as i saw it on Tripadvisor, free to get in but we always donate as we are being entertained.
People might think it is a niche place but it has something for everybody, the volunteers make the place, there passion is overwhelming, they showed us around the whole pump station as in in a private tour, this is one of those places you should visit before it is gone, it`s waaaay more than just a pump station, the museum is brilliant and well described, we did not have a lot of time and as we had to be somewhere so as we were leaving one of the old guys said "have you 10 mins" He wanted to show us around a warehouse where they were doing up 1930s + fire engines, buses, lorries and steam rollers, he knew EVERYTHING, 25 mins later we were still there, we made another donation which is money for the upkeep and restoration of the machines, the other place to donate is for the council, we felt privileged to have met such nice knowledgeable guys. The council should make sure this stays open, forget cutbacks, this is HISTORY.
