点评：I traveled to Iceland at the end of September 2023, and on the last day of my trip — around October 10 — our group visited a unique restaurant called Viking Village Fjörukráin. Without realizing it, I accidentally left my small wallet underneath a bench in the restaurant. It wasn’t until we had arrived at a hotel near the airport, over 100 kilometers away, that I noticed my wallet was missing.
After some urgent inquiries and searching, I eventually discovered that the wallet had been left behind at the restaurant. To my deep relief and gratitude, a kind staff member had found it and carefully kept it safe. What touched me the most was that everything inside — including a significant amount of Euros and US Dollars — was returned to me exactly as it was, with nothing missing.
I wish to express my deepest and most heartfelt thanks to the honest staff member who demonstrated such integrity and character, and to the restaurant owner whose kindness, trustworthiness, and moral values shine through. Your honesty and goodwill didn’t just help me recover my lost items — it truly warmed my heart as a traveler and showed me the sincere spirit of the Icelandic people.
