点评:We visited with our grandsons aged 9 and 5. They were captivated by the amazing variety of items on display. We were given a tour of the site by Cynthia, a knowledgeable volunteer with loads of patience for answering the many questions from each of us. The tour included the millers cottage, wheelwrights shop, shoe repair workshop and the blacksmiths forge where we were given a display by Kate, who invited the children to get 'hands on' and help. Robert gave us a tour of the mill which is currently undergoing some refurbishment. The sweeps are on the ground undergoing restoration at present enabling closer inspection and greater understanding of its construction and how the mechanism works. The children were totally absorbed. They were encouraged to sit on the 2 vintage tractors which they loved!
The site is manned by many very enthusiastic, skilled and non-skilled chatty volunteers and tea and cake was enjoyed by all.
Thank you to all for making us so welcome and our visit so interesting. We will definitely be back!

现场有许多热情洋溢、技术娴熟或不熟练的志愿者,他们都很健谈,大家都享用了茶点。
感谢大家的热情接待,让我们的参观如此精彩。我们一定会再来的!
