科隆纳画廊的点评
点评：Booked a tour for the 10th Oct. Expected it to be c.2 hours as per the notes. Our guide was Sara M for a party of 10 or so, who was unbelievably enthusiastic and knowledgeable about everything in all of the rooms. She happily took questions and pointed out key features in each room - and the garden at the rear - as well as details contained in various art works. The tour was 2hrs 20 mins in the end, but you didn't notice that you'd been there that long as it was so engaging.
A highlight is the 70m long Galleria Colonna, a masterpiece in marble and gilding. If you like medieval and renaissance art, then this is a must see.
You can sit on some of the chairs on the way around, which was a boon to a friend with an iffy knee.
Note that the Google Maps pin says that the entrance is on the SE corner on Via della Pilotta, when it's actually on the SW corner on P. za dei Santi Apostoli.
