点评:I have loved classical music throughout my life and Edvard Grieg is one of my favorite composers. I took light rail train 1 toward airport from Florida station to Hop station. Very pleasant 1 mile walk to Grieg’s Trauldhaugen summer home. Even though it was raining, I was well dressed in rain gear for the well signed 20 minute trek. Minimal elevation gain and loss. Anyone reasonably fit can do it easily. Museum and tour of the Grieg house informative and fascinating. Grounds are beautifully kept and serene. Edvards composing cottage down by the lake is evocative of tranquility for his composing. Edvard and wife Nina’s grave is actually a tomb in a cliff below the main house. The entire property would have been a nature inspired inspiration for creating gorgeous Norwegian classical music. Visit definitely worth the 17 USD entrance fee.
