We love Martin!!

点评：My husband and I took our son and his best mate for the stadium tour, as an early 10th birthday gift. Today wasn’t a match day so parking was no problem at all. Martin was our tour guide and is just an absolute treasure! He was so warm and welcoming, his terrible jokes were my favourite thing ever, and although the tour is supposed to last for 90 minutes, it did over run by about 15 minutes but Martin didn’t seem to mind - throughout the whole tour, there was so much to see and explore, and he talked us through every inch of the building, what each room is for, the trophy cabinets and the contents, the players past and present, every photo, how the team warm up before games and recover after games, we explored the changing rooms, the press conference room, the media room, the tv studio area, the executive boxes, the pitch, and so much more, and there wasn’t a single thing that Martin didn’t have flawless knowledge of! Whenever anyone had questions for him, he just knew the answers - he said he’s been a lifelong Leicester fan, and it really does show. His passion for the team and his job shine through and he was just such a genuine pleasure to meet!
When he found out that it’s almost my son’s birthday, he gifted him a LCFC backpack AND encouraged everyone to sing happy birthday to him in the home team changing rooms, which was the cherry on the cake! (Actually, there were so many cherries on the cake that my son and his friend repeatedly announced that this is “the best day ever!)
And I completely agree - it was.
The other staff we met along the way, including those working in the fan store, were just so lovely and kind.
Thank you so much for making the experience so wonderful, Martin, you truly are magic!!
When he found out that it’s almost my son’s birthday, he gifted him a LCFC backpack AND encouraged everyone to sing happy birthday to him in the home team changing rooms, which was the cherry on the cake!
