Beautiful swimming spot.

点评：We set out to hike from Camogli to San Fruttuoso 2 days before - excited about the route we had seen videos about where you have to hold onto a chain and scramble precariously before descending steeply into the cove. We managed the tough climb up the steps all the way to Sentiero da San Rocco a Punta Chiappa, which is a beautiful rest stop, only to find out that the route we intended was 'closed' (maybe due to recent bad weather?. We had to abandon our plan and took a different hike back down to Camogli which was adventurous and lovely. However, we were determined to get to San Fruttuoso, so a couple of days later, we got the ferry boat from Camogli harbour.
Take your swimming things because this is a must for water babies.
We didn't pay to go into the Monastery, because like most of the people there, we just wanted to enjoy the chance to swim in a beautiful cove. There are lots of shaded spots to get out of the sun or change away from prying eyes, a toilet block, a bar and a restaurant, and a Lido area with sun loungers etc.
The water was lovely and the whole spot is very photogenic. While we waited for our baot back, we were able to get a bottle of beer from the beach bar which was an added bonus.
Take your swimming things because this is a must for water babies.
