点评：Gypsy Cove provides nothing except for access to Yorke Bay. Unless a stray Magellan penguin walks off the beach into the tourist fenced path you could hardly see any of them on the beach half a mile away. We were "lucky" to see one close. There is an aged woman ranger there who, for some strange reason, told me that Yorke Bay is closed to tourists. When I pointed to a few groups of people walking in that direction she argued they were accompanied by a guide because of bird flu, quick sands, and, mind you! a anti-tank mine swept on the beach and detonated a week ago! If you encounter her ignore her. She's an idiot. Just walk from the parking lot back 800 feet and make a left onto the beach, then proceed for 2 miles to the gentoo pinguin breeding grounds. There's plenty of rangers along the way to point you in the right direction.
