Nottingham Raceway Karting的点评
点评：Attended a children’s party for mostly 10s & a couple of 11 yr olds. We had over an hours wait (kids were so bored and even the ‘cafe’ wasn’t open so no refreshments) as they clearly take all bookings then sort it on the day so there were several other groups booked in for the same time. Staff were incredibly rude and attempted to intimidate the parents who expressed concern when they tried to put the kids in adult go karts so they could get them all on in one time slot rather than 2. (They happily took the booking & payment for a children’s party … then advsd when we arrived that they only had 6 kids carts?! Tried to tell us only difference between kids and adult carts were that the adults were a bit bigger, but no faster?!) There was a short briefing on a tiny screen and no waivers or disclaimers were requested. The carts were hit & miss in terms of how they were working and the staff shouted at the kids throughout and were aggressive to everyone. Health and safety didn’t feel existent, never mind paramount & I was very relieved when my child finished his go. Two of the children in the second session had crashes which resulted in their helmets flying off, some scary moments and a leg injury. We were all relieved and surprised it wasn’t worse. When questioned it turned out no one had checked that the helmets fitted and were secure. We will never set foot in there again. Adults take your chances but this is absolutely NOT an appropriate venue for a kids party.
