救主堂的点评
点评：Located a short walk from Christianshavn Metro or a ten minute walk from the Borsen is this impressive church. Entry is free with the Copenhagen Card.
The climb takes in two viewing platforms. To get to the first one is an internal winding staircase which stops off at each floor with items on display. One level had leftover busts of cupid, another had the bells of the carillon and its mechanism, another had the organ for playing music. The interior staircase was hard to see because there was often dim lighting only so you had to watch your step. Last came a ladder-like staircase to the first platform that gave us a wonderful view all around the city. It looked beautiful and you could see a long way under clear blue skies and because it was flat.
A second external staircase winds its way up the spire. The views here are as good as the first level.
At the bottom we sat through a short informative film about the development of the church. It tied in nicely to Danish history.
Highly recommended to do this walk early because it would be quite difficult in peak season crowds. The winding stairs accommodate people walking in both directions but are not really big enough for that.
