Great place to go for a relaxing garden visit

点评：These historical renaissance gardens are across the river from the main old city attractions. They cost 12 euros normally of 9 euro if you have the Verona Card. At the lower levels there are lush manicured lawns and hedges with trimmed trees. This area is recovering after past storms. To the left on entry is the Classical statues garden and old greenhouses. You feel cut off from the city here but as you climb up the levels as you go through the gardens to get to see better views over Verona. There are some good ones from the higher levels when you go up through the concealed stairs in a sort of tower. In the centre of the gardens up on the face is the crowning glory a Mascherone face, which is clearly seen from below. This must have been so impressive when lit in the past when dark or smoke coming out in daylight.
