米拉马雷城堡的点评
点评：The castle is interesting but you can whip through it pretty fast and just get a feel for the lifestyle of the couple who built it or you can linger over some of the sumptuous details. Their history was unknown to me and I found it intriguing. I actually found more interesting the Art Devo section that was done for the family that lived there in the 30’s, maybe because you don’t expect that in a castle and it was interesting to see how the spaces were adapted. The gardens are extensive but not strikingly beautiful- as they are free, I think it’s more a place a family might want to come wandering on a warm day to get out of the city. There is a little jitney that operates at about €6 for a 15-20 minute tour if you want to ride to get an overall feel of the layout.The schedule seemed a bit obscure to me.
