Worth Seeing, Better than expected for a half day trip but check directions.

点评：Better than expected for a half day trip but make sure to follow directions. The area is interesting. . The falls and gorge give a lot of insight into the geology and are worth a part of a day. There is a castle/chateau close by that a lot of people visited; we missed it due to our direction issues and plans to drive on to Semnoz as part of the day.
The flow of water was limited when we were there but enough to enjoy the sounds and take pictures. The flow of water can increase dramatically when there is a lot of rain, so check ahead on conditions. There are a few places where you have to make way for persons coming and going along the boardwalk. There is a place to eat at the entrance to the boardwalk and also not far from the parking, which is a bit distance from the actual site.
The site is inexpensive and easier than expected to walk. The boardwalk is attached to one side of the gorge and halfway up. It is very safe. The walk continues a ways above the gorge after going up some stairs at the end of the board walk. You then can retrace your steps on the way back.
The walk was far less difficult than feared with limited stairs. (Some in the group were hesitant to go because two persons in our group are older or have issues walking too much).
Our google maps GPS took us the wrong way due to missing a turn. We ended up on some pretty limited one lane, unpaved, limited use roads that our GPS directed us on to, which should not have occurred. It also confused a small village with the site, so be sure you are going to the right place.
