点评:Stayed 3 nights at this beautiful marine and wildlife sanctuary. Campground is large and spacious with good access to the beach from every spot. Price is reasonable and it feels like an amazing privilege to be able to stay within a predator free sanctuary. Great walks and wildlife to be seen and heard just from our camp spot...Tui, Kaka, kotare, pateke and piwakawaka everywhere! Great to see young people and school groups enjoying this spot (though it would have been good to know the school group were arriving as we were parked up right in the middle of the spot they have used for 15 years!) Just a sign indicating when they were arriving would have been helpful. Also a bit disappointed at the lack of education around the wildlife and how to respect and care for the environment. Seems like a lost opportunity on Auckland Regional Council's part to educate tourists and young people about things like storing food so the Pukeko and other birds can't access it. Had to rescue food and plastic on multiple occasions because people had left things out in the open.
Seems like the camp has become party central on the weekends which impacts this otherwise peaceful place.

周末营地似乎变成了派对中心,影响了原本宁静祥和的氛围。
