点评:We go to see plays at the HfC so the audiences are well behaved which is a plus after reading other reviews. However, "The Green Room Cafe" which is at the Quay side entrance to the theatre is extremely basic - no savoury options to speak of. I had a vegan pasty which was inedible and appeared to consist of chopped onion, there was a normal pasty available and that was that no cheese. Very poor quality pasties. A few very ordinary pieces of cake on an open counter for everyone to sneeze over. The staff said they had lost some kind of oven and it had not been replaced. The tables and chairs are canteen standard and it is not easy to find a seat as this is where people wait to take their seats. There are only three loos, serving both sexes, adjoining the cafe so it is better to wait until you have been allowed into the theatre if you don't want to queue in the last minute rush. All seems very strange that when they refurbished the theatre no effort was put into this aspect of the experience.
