Circumetnea Railway的点评
点评：Since the previous posts there have been changes to the trains/buses, but the Circumetnea rail website has accurate timetables.
I bought my tickets (FCE and Metro) the day before leaving. They are valid for 15 days. Though I was told otherwise, the FCE ticket actually works on the Metro too.
Here is my plan which worked to perfection.
I caught the Metro to Nesima about 7.10am, then the 8am bus to Santa Maria di Licodia where the train now starts. This bus leaves from the bus stop on the road opposite the station entrance (not the bus station past the old FCE station) and drips you right at the train station.
The train leaves at 9.06am and arrives in Randazzo at 10.30am (and was on time). There were very few people on the train and only 4 left by Randazzo.
I spent 2 hours in Randazzo walking around before getting the 12.45pm train to Linguaglossa (the quaint old train which I had to myself). There is an information board with a walking route and there are some signs around the town to follow for the walk (not entirely clear). Two hours was barely enough time, so I just had a gelato for lunch! Unfortunately the next train is not until 4.05pm, although you can get a bus all the way back at 2pm.
The train arrived in Linguaglossa at 1.22pm and I walked around and found a bar to sample the local wine. This is as far as the train now goes. I then caught the 2.30pm bus back to Catania, which arrived at Metro Borgo at 3.20pm.
The train tickets (2), cost €14.20.
Bonus was that until 2.30pm Mt Etna didn’t have a cloud on it, so the views were excellent.

火车下午 1:22 到达林瓜格洛萨，我四处逛了逛，找到一家酒吧品尝当地的葡萄酒。火车到此为止了。之后，我搭乘下午 2:30 的巴士返回卡塔尼亚 (Catania)，巴士于下午 3:20 到达博尔戈地铁站 (Metro Borgo)。
火车票（两张）一共 14.20 欧元。
更棒的是，直到下午 2:30，埃特纳火山 (Mt Etna) 都云雾缭绕，景色美极了。
