Great few hours away from Salzburg centre
萨尔茨堡温特山的点评
点评：We read about the Untersberg cable car and thought on a sunny day wed give it a whirl.
Ive only ever done 1 cable car before and this was a little daunting. It does move a fair bit in the wind and seems to have such steep long gaps inbetween each station.
Heads up the station you can see isnt the top of the mountain and only half way! As we started our ascent the clouds came over and sadly our views from the half way point were thick clouds only. Note to self check weather...the views to that point were beautiful but absolutely gutted we didnt get the full experience
The walk to the top in that weather is hard and yes it is a drop if you don't look carefully so wouldnt recommend in bad weather
Bus 25 from Salzburg centre was super easy
We used Strava to find local walks to the mountains and found this hidden gem only 10 minutes away which you could walk for miles. So glad we went off track
