National Wool Museum的点评
点评：Today we visited the Wool Museum and its worth its $10 entrance fee. The museum was well set out with 4 floors of Geelong's History of Agriculture (sheep-wool), History Woollen and Scouring Mills and examples of all textile machinery that made blankets, carpets rugs etc.
We also visited the old Geelong Jail and for the oldies and the history and tour of the old jail was fantastic whilst treatment of inmates was eye opening. It's a must visit and the entry fee was $18 for Seniors- The entry fee is high but if you are interested in the history side it's well worth the fee. (5-star rating)
Finally, we also visited Geelong Art Gallery another great visit if you are into Arts pieces in the 1800s -this was a free entry and again very interesting. ( 4-Star Rating(
All these places are a leisurely walk from the train station with the Geelong Jail approximately 1.5 Klm from the Geelong Station.
