点评：Just recently, I went on my second adventure with Red Carpet Tours. I first went in December 2014 for the Battle of the Five Armies release tour. I enjoyed the experience so much back then, that I decided to do it all over again 10 years later. This time with my fiancée / now husband. We both enjoyed the tour immensely! Coming back for a 2nd time felt like coming home to family.
Julie & Josh are both highly professional but also two of the kindest, most fun & approachable tour guides I've been with. They provide lots of interesting facts & info about the LotR & Hobbit movies, but also New Zealand in general. Both tours I did had, of course, some similar points in their itinerary, but also some things that were new to me this time (due to group size, movie release, etc., on the last trip), so it was still exciting for me. However, even the places and activities I've seen/done before were worth a second visit too. There was not one thing where I thought, "Ah, I could've done without going there / seeing/doing this".
Their tours are well organised, and you can see that they have a good relationship with the owners of the various properties and sites they take you to, making the visits there even more enjoyable.
I can only highly recommend Red Carpet Tours to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of real-life Middle Earth in New Zealand! Whether you're travelling as a couple/group or solo, as I did in 2014, you will certainly feel welcome in the fellowship you're travelling with. I think sharing this with all the like-minded, kind and lovely LotR fans has made both my trips even more special! Some great friendships have come from them as well. And even if you're not a big fan of the movies, you'll surely enjoy it nevertheless and will probably be a fan at the end of the tour ;)
