A Boat which didnt meet expectations for a 5 day break.
Le Boat - Chertsey的点评
点评：Sadly a holiday planned from Australia via Blue Waters Holidays and provided by Le Boat did not live up to our expectations.
A 3 cabin boat with private facilities shower and toilet, paid our deposits for fuel engine hours etc, did have somewhat of a training session, a wave of the arm in the general direction of an unseeable lock THEN a comment Of Course you have been told that you cannot use the toilet in the main cabin we are waiting on a part (part wasnt at that stage ordered!!) Back to reception where this matter is glossed over as something they could not fix.
5 adults 3 cabins 2 toilets they gave us 2 toilet rolls took away the third one as toilet didnt work !! 1 rubbish bag, no cloth to wipe down bench or sink.
NO MAP OF THE THAMES RIVER, NO INFORMATION ABOUT THE LOCKS, WHERE, THE DISTANCE BETWEEN ETC. The emails prior to this trip and phone calls referred to the documents that are provided!!
THE BOAT BROKE DOWN 11.30 am on the Thursday we could not contact the base at Chertsey, Benson, emails, phone messages, unsuccessful. After approx 1 hour a return phone call was made by the technican. 7 hours moored in the middle of nowhere.
When we were hoping to have dinner in Eton to celebrate a birthday. I COULD GO ON.... Technican worked on the boat for several hours needed another part had to go back to base etc etc By 6.30 pm it was tested and worked.
