A friendly & welcoming little railway
Leighton Buzzard Railway的点评
点评：I visited the Leighton Buzzard Railway (12/10/25) for the first time with family. The first thing worth noting about this narrow gauge railway is how friendly and helpful the staff are. The ticket office was simple but provided a few interesting items for sale , however, the cafe was outstanding. The staff were friendly , and the food quality was excellent, all at a reasonable price.
The station at Pages Park suited the railway, and the loco shed provided a lot of interest. The rumbling trip down the line ended at Stonehenge works, where you will find a variety of railwayana from the days of the railways past. The only real letdown was that for the majority of the line you are passing through a typical suburban housing estate , however don't let this put you off as it still provides enough interest for the traveller.Worth a visit , a definite yes.
