Perfect start to a Polynesian adventure

点评：What a wonderful introduction to Polynesia! Vahio was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about his home and culture. Throughout the hike, we learned as much about Polynesian history, culture, and life today as we did about the incredible landscape, flora, and fauna around us.
What stood out most was Vahio’s genuine pride in his Polynesian heritage. The Polynesian people have so much to be proud of, and Vahio is a wonderful ambassador for that pride. His stories and perspective added so much depth to the experience and gave us a much richer appreciation of the place we were visiting.
We actually did this hike only two hours after stepping off an overnight international flight—and it turned out to be the perfect way to start our trip! Fresh air, movement, beautiful scenery, and fascinating conversation were exactly what we needed to stave off the jet lag.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for an experience that combines hiking, nature, culture, and a genuine connection to Polynesia. Thank you, Vahio, for such a memorable welcome!
