点评：I recently visited Savannah earlier this month and happened upon this local Savannah artist as I walking along the riverfront. Amelia has this vibrant and unique artistry that pulled me in immediately when walking by her space. The creativity and attention to detail in each item truly reflect the heart and artistic spirit of the artist herself. I ended up talking with Amelia for quite some time. She has this beautiful and sincere energy that was locely to witness. Especially as a cynical Bostonian! Amelia truly glowed as she explained her inspiration when inquired about certain drawings. Every piece in her shop feels thoughtfully made. I was in awe of Amelia’s talent. Even more so of who she is as a person. She radiates pure joy!
She has an incredibly genuine passion for what she does that is reflected in her work. This was especially true of the colorful and upbeat mailbox that she has set up to send postcards. I got such a kick out of this charming idea and promptly sent one to my niece back home. It’s always special to support local talent wherever you go, this is especially true when the experience is this positive. I bought several items for my niece and a couple for myself to remind me of the goodness that you can in the most random places. It was so enjoyable to hear Amelia excitedly share how she was inspired to use the flowers from each world country to design the magnet show in the picture. I cannot stress enough what a special person Amelia is. If you’re looking for authentic, beautifully made art or gifts in Savannah, I highly recommend checking out Amelia’s work!
