Tor Spa Retreat的点评
点评：Four friends booked a day spa and treatments with lunch. Strangely the lunch was served in sittings and we were last. The food was barely warm as it had been out for a while without hot plates and there were no places for us to sit together so we improvised and found a spot to eat together sitting on loungers and eating from our knees. There were not enough desserts but someone gave us her mums which her mum hadn’t eaten. Unfortunately while some other guests were lovely and good at sharing space there were some spa regulars who were very proprietorial, making comments for example about one of my friends using two pegs one for her robe and one for the towel or taking cutlery from the table to eat with. So a bit of a snarky vibe, some people making it their ‘happy place’ by making it very clear to others what made them unhappy. I’m not sure what the spa could have done about the passive aggressive vibe but lunch should have been better managed and when I mentioned it privately they just said that it was the fault of other guests for sitting in the wrong place. A lovely day with friends was had but the spa itself didn’t make us feel as welcome as we should have felt.
