点评:My passengers say this is a great place, and as an Uber driver, I know the front-door hustle is the secret to 5-stars and a tip. Arriving for the first time, I quickly read “Valet" but didn’t see “Only” on the sign, so I turned to drop my riders at the door, and this woman started to stare me down. My passengers were uncomfortable and exited my car. Karen made me roll down my window and informed me the curb was for "valet only" and I mentioned there should be a sign… as she gave me a soul-piercing death stare she said there are two signs. As I backed out, she followed me with her stare and then actually pounded on the signs to startle me, nearly causing me to hit two men getting out of another car. I drove away vowing to never return to her toxic valet stand.
But the Universe has a wicked sense of humor. My very next passenger was headed to the exact same bar. I told him I’d have to drop him at the corner to avoid the valet-troll Karen. He just grinned. "Don’t worry, I’m a retired Chicago cop. I’ll handle her."
Both rides tipped me, and perhaps Karen got a "performance review" from Chicago’s finest.
Recommendation to management : get rid of the second sign. ONE SIGN. Put on the sign “VALET ONLY” - service matters.
