We’re no Rieslingfreaks, but thanks for an education time!

点评：Pros:
- great education tasting to learn variances between growing regions.
- great historical discussion on the company/founders
- great tasting structure separated into similar sections so you can compare the rieslings
- beautiful little building with fire going first thing!
Cons:
- whilst the fire was great, perhaps some music would’ve helped the atmosphere ‘warm’ up a little inside. Felt very quiet and awkward when our table wanted to discuss the wine or have a laugh.
- the wedding Riesling… yikes! Can’t imagine any guests wanting to sneak bottles of that out of the wedding!
- the price of some of the later bottles is creeping up there. At the end of the day I guess you are supporting small, local business, but nearly $50 for their sparkling… yikes! Doesn’t compete with a lot of $50 sparklings you can buy!
- perhaps a higher end tasting option for those that have been again and again. We were told how their Riesling ages we’ll but unfortunately could try this theory out as an option! Would be happy to pay!
Would highly recommend for anyone who likes Riesling or loves to learn! I great gem of a place!!
