Tees Transporter Bridge的点评
点评：This has been on my hit list of places to visit, even before the boys on Auf Weidersein Pet moved it to Arizona and it certainly didn't disappoint...this is truly an amazing structure.
It's well within walking distance from the station, there's one sign pointing you in the right direction..then just follow your nose VOILA there it is
The structure is particularly impressive in size, and technology employed when it was built.
When I arrived the guy that runs the visitor centre was just opening the winch room to show some other visitors and cordially invited me in. His knowledge was amazing, was very friendly and answered any questions we had. What he doesn't know about bridges probably isn't worth knowing.
This is definitely worth a visit...even though there's not a lot else to enjoy in immediate vicinity (unless you're a supporter of Middlesbrough FC as the stadium is about a 5 minute walk away)
