Le Boat - Migennes的点评
点评：We were a family group of 9 people, ranging in ages from 16 to 79. We rented two boats to leave some space for bags etc.
We did a 5 day round trip from Migennes in the direction of Auxerre and back.
🔹Good things:
Le Boat communicated very efficiently right from the start.
Both the shop and the station is really close to the boats at Migennes.
The boats were ready when we arrived, the instructions were sufficient.
Bedlinnen was lovely and clean.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and made suggestions about our route.
We arrived back just in time for our train and the Le Boat staff offered to take us to the station in their vehicle so that we wouldn’t miss the train.
The map book provided is very helpful.
Lovely scenery and bird life, especially beyond Auxerre.
🔹Not so good:
There were quite a lot of tiny spiders around the boat, I’m unsure if this is normal for the canal environment, but a good boat brushing off in the mornings sorted it out.
We found the canal water a bit suspect between Migennes and Auxerre (to swim in). From Auxerre further south it seemed cleaner.
No cleaning cloths or cleaning solution in the boat.
Next time, we would take a boat with a sun cover. We had three umbrellas per boat, but a full fabric cover would have been better.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday and lots of good memories. Thank you to the staff at Le Boat, you were amazing!
