点评：We got married in September and thought a boat trip would be the perfect honeymoon adventure. Of course we brought the dogs, what could possibly go wrong? Sarah recommended the Consul 10, and she was spot on. She and Brian greeted us with professionalism, warmth, and plenty of laughs.
The boat was exactly as described, and Lough Derg was stunning. The dogs took some convincing, but we all found our sea legs eventually. Well, until the last day, when we managed to do the dreaded thing… and grounded the boat.
A quick call to the emergency number, and within minutes the rescue team arrived. Sarah’s first question was “are you okay?” and Brian just grinned and cracked a joke. No harm done, just a great story to take home.
Be warned though: land sickness is real. That wobble lasted hours!
Five stars to Emerald Star. We’ll be back again, though maybe without the dogs this time.
