点评：We visited last Sunday because so many other stately homes are now closed so thank goodness for NT properties.
Car park is much larger and well laid-out comparecd to 8 years ago.So a good start.The house still looks unloved and a shadow of its former self. NT need to stop investing in land purchases and instead put monies into the properties it has. This could be a treasure if NT did a little more work in the house.
The room guides were engaging and interesting.I was so glad the rooms upstairs were open particularly the Chinese bedroom.
The gardens open to the public not those on the private side, again looked a little unloved and untidy in places but still enjoyable to wander around and the views on the estate are wonderful.
We had a cream tea in the courtyard which was very satisfactory and served very quickly.
We visited the lovely church too which was historic and interesting.
We had just over 2.5 hours here and on the whole enjoyed our day.
