Not worth the trip, there better places to see the stars come rain or shine

点评：Definitely not worth booking in advance as the weather can change and all stargazing events and tours are cancelled like a domino effects just a few hours prior. Refunds are processed quickly but there is nothing else to do on this town and the scenery is much like the rest of country NSW, nothing special and the landscape is the same for the 6hrs it takes to get there. It's completely weather dependent with nothing else to do in the town at all. There is no provision for the weather such as with other observatories that have virtual solar system tours, lectures with images. The town has no history to speak of, certainly no cultural places to see or any where to go other than these stargazing tours. Best if you passing through from elsewhere and if weather is fine, book last minuet otherwise move on. The sky here is nothing special, just as clear as any other remote location when the weather is fine.
