点评：Southport Beach is like a swamp glass and rubbish burried in the sand as they no longer comb it fences falling apart as it’s not maintained birdwatchers have ruined the beach wanting to look at seagulls and Sefton council has the audacity to charge £10 for the experience better going new Brighton beach or Blackpool atleast they bother to clean there beaches daily staff are arrogant at the pay point ticket men lurking about ready to pounce and ice creams for 3 expect to pay nearly £20 cans of pop where £3.50 family of 3 day out there cost £80-£100 and I beleive every penny was wasted ots not like it used to be when the council bothered to maintain it and it was £3 to get on there and stretched both left and right for some 2 miles not the little patch they have now they used to have motor rods on the beach cant now it’s like a swamp grassland Sefton council ruined the entire eco system stopping the sand works by charging them extortionate rate they destroyed there own pier with dodgy contractors it’s such a shame it used too be such a lovely town now it’s a dump services have disappeared charity shops everywhere on lord street it’s an embarrassment to the former town it was and to think they hold the flower show here its the only park in Southport thats maintained properly hesketh park an elderly man fell in the lake there and contracted a fungus that killed him as the waters that dirty in Sefton council unfortunately it has focused on corruption and greed has ruined the town with high buisness rates making way for charity shops on the high street
