点评：I have visited the Kaeserberg Model Railway experience several times over the past few years but this was my visit since the exhibit has re-opened after renovations. The overall exhibit has been re-vamped with the most notable addition being many videos and touchscreens throughout the layout, which give many different technical details and explanations. At certain points on the layout, touchscreens can be used to identify passing trains and the visitors can discover historical and technical info about the prototypes displayed on the model railway. A visit begins with getting your souvenir old-style train ticket punched by a member of staff, who then ushers you into a small cinema where there is a short introductory film about the founder's childhood dream and adventures. This is a brand-new film and shorter in length than the previous film that was shown to visitors in the past. A film of shorter length has been achieved by removing many technical and construction details and displaying them on screens or visual displays throughout the layout. This is a really great improvement for everyone, not only young children who can be impatient but also for repeat visitors. The towns, villages and scenery are fictional representations of parts of Switzerland as they would have been in the 1990's; and the layout itself stretches over 3 floors with thousands of metres of track. The Kaeserberg Model Railway exhibit is fun to walk around (indoors so it is great in bad weather) and a great learning experience. Definitely recommend visiting here.
