Flawless Pantanal Experience – Professional, Well-Organized, and Breathtaking

点评：Our experience with "Journey With Jaguars" was truly fantastic! Everything was extremely well-organized, and communication was excellent—not only before the tour but also during and even after. We always felt well-informed and taken care of.
Pantanal is an absolutely incredible place with breathtaking wildlife. The natural diversity is overwhelming — you are surrounded by countless birds, and every moment feels like a new discovery. At the lodge, animals would often visit, making the experience even more special. The highlight, of course, was seeing big jaguars from a close distance in their natural habitat—an unforgettable and thrilling moment. Another incredible experience was spotting giant otters, watching them play, fish, and interact as a family.
What impressed us deeply was our guide’s unbelievable knowledge. He could name more than 2,000 bird species—in three different languages! Every time we spotted a bird, he instantly identified it, sharing fascinating details about its behavior and habitat. His expertise and passion made the experience even more special, and we left with a much deeper appreciation for the incredible wildlife of the Pantanal.
Payment was easy as well, with good options for European customers.
As a European visitor, I appreciate that Benjamin is already in the higher price range, which in my opinion should be enough to provide fair wages. While it was well communicated in advance, I still found it disappointing that staff depend so much on tips as a necessary part of their income. I would prefer a system where their salaries are already sufficient, so tipping is only an extra way to show appreciation.
One small note—not only for this operator but for eco-tourism in the Pantanal in general—I think there could be a bit more focus on nature protection, and it wouldn’t require extra costs. For example, agreeing on speed limits and avoiding full-power driving in narrow creeks could be an easy way to reduce disturbance to wildlife.
Still, this was an absolutely amazing experience, and I would highly recommend "Journey With Jaguars" to anyone looking for a professional and responsible way to explore the Pantanal!
