Experiencing Ecostay-ecology with sensible sustainable economy
Tanshikar's Working Organic Spice Farm的点评
点评：A breath of fresh air, a symphony of nature, a respect for legacy, and sheer determination to preserve ecology-passing it all to the guests who are lucky to stumble upon this treasure trove of organic spice plantation, which is as sincere in its commitment to nature, as it is to let tourists become a part of all this.
Our two night stay at this property, at a time of monsoon rains and winds, but without phone signals and television, is nothing but a tapestry of pleasant memories now that we are back. I had been aching for a break from mundane daily routine for a gasp of nature, and someone told that Goa is offering 50% discount on all hotel bookings now, because of monsoon. After a great three days search of over 50 properties, I settled on this eco stay. To appease the better half, I booked one day at a beach property, and two nights at Tanshikar ecostay. I was expecting wife to get agitated at the ecostay, so, I took the first day at the beach property, followed by this. We were astounded by the lush greenery, so much so, the rain didn't directly reach the ground, but was channelised in droplet form by tall swaying tree tops.
As we came to know more about the property, I came to know it was genuinely using only old, organic methods of farming, though basics of stay like electricity, attached clean toilets, and even wifi were on offer. The activities like nature walks, cooking of local stuff, and the plantation tour, alongwith night Safari, were all things that didn't allow tv or other activities, while allowing for a relaxed stay. The snake we saw in the jungle, the song of whistling malabar thrush and the local food from organic stuff was enough to transport us to another world completely. The helpful and courteous staff, and owner himself, truly made our stay wonderful, by simply living upto their tag....organic eco stay.
All in all, the stay exceeded the expectations. One suggestion though. Not every guest is a dog lover. You may train the rescued dogs to maintain distance from the guests. Otherwise, my best wishes to the farm to keep up the good work. You fulfill a very important need, and provide a bridge between tradition and today's high stress world.

随着对这片庄园的了解逐渐深入，我发现这里确实只采用传统的有机耕作方式；不过住宿所需的基本设施也一应俱全，比如电力、洁净的独立卫生间，甚至还有无线网络。这里还提供诸如自然徒步、用当地食材烹饪之类的活动。种植园游览以及夜间野生动物园，这些活动让游客无法看电视或进行其他消遣，却能尽情享受轻松惬意的度假时光。我们在丛林中看到的蛇、马拉巴尔画眉鸟的鸣叫声，还有用有机食材制作的当地美食，都让我们仿佛置身于另一个世界。热情周到的工作人员以及老板本人，切实践行了“有机生态度假村”这一理念，让我们的入住体验美妙至极。
总而言之，这次住宿体验完全超出了我们的预期。有一个小建议：并非每位客人都是爱狗人士。您可以训练那些获救的狗狗与客人保持一定距离。除此之外，衷心祝愿这个农场能继续把工作做得出色。你们满足了一种非常重要的需求，也为传统与当今这个压力重重的世界之间架起了一座桥梁。
