点评:We visited the nuclear bunker this afternoon on a fresh February Saturday. We were immediately welcomed and greeted by a delightful gentleman and tour guide named Graham who led the 45-minute tour. Graham delivered a very interesting account of the history of the bunker, how it functioned during the Cold War whilst providing some interesting knowledge about its ROC volunteers. After explaining a few safety essentials, Graham took us down into the bunker as a small group and continued the tour. The group consisted of 6 adults and two children, all of whom were engaged by Grahams delivery which was professional and sensitive, yet entertaining throughout. Grahams knowledge of the bunker and ability to allow us to imagine what it was like when it was in use, was commendable. This tour was very good value for money and a valuable recollection of a very important part of history which I will recommend to family and friends visiting the area.
