We've had the good fortune of seeing orangutans in the wild in a number of different locations and this is, hands down, the best experience.
There are so many of them, and they move with ease and comfort. There's none of that jostling for space, trying to get a good shot. You have all the space in the world, and the time to just enjoy being with them. It is magical.
The hot springs are divine too. Quiet, peaceful and with piping hot water rushing alongside cool streams, while butterflies try to land on you, it felt deeply meditative and nourishing for the soul.
