Underwhelming Experience
Treetop Trekking Miami的点评
点评：Our kids went for the Explorer options, it was a rainy day and they were the only people for the trekking. The check-in process was smooth and we arrived 20+ mins early to make sure no rush. The staff helped kids to suit up.
Though it's raining, that didn't affect the experience, as they ended up can go at their own pace. They finished the Explorer track in 50mins. The trekking itself worths 4 stars.
Now here's the disappointing part, after they are done, as the kids were removing the harness, they wanted to go with the upgrade trek with $25(plus tax). We checked with the staff on-site and he simply said go back to the main entrance. When we got back to the main entrance, the front desk staff said that kids had already remove the harness and so they cannot upgrade.
While I don't oppose the policy, which I suspect to prevent additional work for staffs to suit up/down repeatedly. This policy wasn't clear upfront. We didn't see that from the written guideline and even the staff at the trek (he saw kids starting to remove harness) didn't mention to us either.
Obviously we didn't pay the full price ($100 +tax) for both kids for upgrade, to suit up again. My wife asked if they can make exception (honestly we were the only folks there), and the front desk staff replied with single word "No".
Overall, the trekking experience was ok, but disappointed with the unfriendly staffs and ultimately would only give 3 stars.
