Thomson Safaris的点评
点评：After our trip to Tanzania we were convinced that we had selected the best safari guide. Our guides had each been with the company for more than a decade and every employee, without exception, seemed happy to be working for Thomson and dedicated to making our trip a success. Also, the level of support we received before we arrived in Tanzania was a pleasant surprise.
As far as we can tell, two more things set Thomson apart from the other providers:
(i) Thomson owns land adjacent to Serengetti National Park which is the site of one of their camps. Because it is outside the park boundaries you can get out and walk on the plain (accompanied by a ranger with a gun . . .) and you can go on a night game drive. The view from the camp is spectacular, including a "watering hole" which draws animals.
(ii) Thomson enjoys a special relationship with the Masai tribe, whose village is near Serengetti camp. We visited the village, and then our camp was visited by tribe members including a midwife and storyteller.
