Gorgeous Buffalo River float!

点评：We used Crockett's for the all-day canoe a few days ago. It was wonderful and the river was gorgeous. Amanda and Creed are friendly and helpful. Since we hadn't canoed in a while, they gave us a few tips, like where the tree was in the water so that we'd miss it and not flip. They also mentioned looking for the otters, which we saw! We enjoyed floating past them for 3-4 minutes while they swam along and jumped on shore and then swam again.
We went early (9:00) to have more of the river to ourselves! On the float we did, we used their shuttle and left our vehicle at Dillards Ferry (take out point) and they shuttled us to put in at Maumee (South Maumee, if I'm remembering correctly). We loved being out early and then stopping for lunch. And it was awesome that we could just leave the canoe at Dillards Ferry and hop in our car and leave.
Creed and Amanda know a lot about the area, and they were super helpful to answer any questions that we had. Our float lasted about 4 hours, including a stop for lunch. Crockett's was a lot of fun. We're hoping to return in the summer so that we can swim while we're on the river!
