Otter Paddle Orlando | Silver Springs的点评
点评：My family ( husband and 2 teenagers -ages 15) have visited Florida multiple times and often we go to the theme parks , the space center and the beaches. But this past holiday season we thought the theme parks were so crowded and decided we will do something special. I came across this company’s instagram page , made the phone call in California before we left for our trip and booked a tour on New Year’s Day. We opted to go to silver springs state park having heard that it is a sanctuary for manatees . And I can tell you it was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences we ever had. It was the first time my kids went paddle boarding and seeing the Manatees was just one of the most amazing family experiences we ever had … The weather was perfect, the water was cool ( 72 degrees) and not only did we see manatees but we saw herons, all kinds of birds, turtles, blue tilapia and even a small alligator . Our guide Rachelle ( who is also one of the owners ) was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the entire park . It was very safe and very relaxing and my kids easily fell in love with paddle boarding. She never made us feel rushed and was helpful in getting my kids started with the paddle boards, ( The paddle boards also are very nice high quality boards !) She also took some really amazing pictures and videos (like approx 280! ) that every time I show friends/family they are so amazed about This is a must do bucket list experience and for me I think it’s even better than the theme parks. Next time we make our way to Orlando again, we will check out their other tours ( rainbow springs) but if you go between November to March —do not miss the manatees . Some things to know : the trip from Orlando to silver springs is about an hour and a half —so plan ahead . We took a rental car. Which we had anyways everyone we go to Orlando. Well worth it though.
