点评:Bought family a 1-day Nuda Penida snorkeling trip from travel desk at resort in Nusa Dua. Included car pick-up to Sanur, ferry transport to Nuda Penida, snorkeling trip with 4 locations, and lunch.
Car pick-up was on time, ferry transport to Nusa Penida was confusing as we were sent on a non-Rayfish boat. But we arrived to Nusa Penida nice and early... and that is where the horror story starts. The vendor selected by Rayfish (Sparrow Snorkeling) provided the worst snorkeling trip I've ever been on (spanning 20 trips in 8 countries). Awful, just awful trip. First, we waited for more then 90 minutes in a terrible, dirty stall. (Yeah, it's near a port in Indonesia, so best to keep low expectations - but this was really quite bad, especially compared to the neighboring stalls). Sparrow had an overloaded boat, poor snorkeling gear (black mold on mouthpiece, fins repaired with tieswraps). My wife's mask strap broke the firts time she tried to put it on, and she never got to get into the water since there was no replacement. Safety vests were in poor repair and had no way to close them on your body (no straps or buckles at all). Boat was understaffed - driver and 1 person trying to manage 25+ snorkelers. By the time we got into the water, they yelled "time to go". We spent more time waiting for the trip then we spent on the boat and in the water. Lunch was ok, and return trip was fine.
IMHO Rayfish should do better, considering the cost, then using a crap provider like Sparrow. Really disappointing. I mentioned my disappointment to the travel desk at the resort and they were horrified.
I would advise selecting a different day-trip provider. Rayfish was a massive let down.
