Fantastic Distillery Experience – Highly Recommended!

点评：I visited Abingdon Distillery last Saturday with a group of friends as part of my stag do, and it was one of the highlights of the weekend. We booked the distillery experience, and from start to finish it was excellent value for money.
The visit began with a signature rum cocktail on arrival (a brilliant touch), followed by a fascinating talk about the history of the distillery. The host was outstanding – passionate, knowledgeable, and clearly proud of what they’ve built. You could tell how much he cared about the craft and where the business is heading.
We learned how gin, rum, and whisky are made, and then got to put that knowledge into practice with a guided tasting of two gins and two rums. I’ll be honest – I’m not usually much of a gin drinker – but the quality was undeniable. The spiced rum in particular was absolutely out of this world and easily one of the best I’ve ever tried.
The whole formula worked perfectly: welcome drink, history and process, tasting session. Informative, great fun, and brilliantly hosted. If you’re looking for a unique activity with friends or just want to discover some top-quality spirits, I can’t recommend Abingdon Distillery enough.
