The worst dive center I have ever visited.
Apart from the already overpriced trip, a week before my dive I was informed that the boat was out of service and most likely wouldn’t be repaired in time. My booking was changed from a Double Boat Trip to a Guided Shore Dive. The guide mentioned it was his first time doing a shore dive, as he usually dives from the boat. Judging by other reviews, however, the boat has been broken for over two months — yet the center still keeps selling boat trips.
I was told I would receive a 50% refund, but after the dive, the center’s phone was turned off and all emails received an automated response. If you have the option to dive elsewhere, avoid this place at all costs.
Shore diving in the bay makes little sense if you’ve dived in places like Sydney — there’s simply nothing to see. The organization was terrible: the dive site was nearly 10 km away from the dive center, and we had to transport all our gear there ourselves. Things started with a one-hour delay due to the staff’s lack of organization, and there was no clear plan at all — the first dive was said to start “sometime in the next 1–3 hours” depending on when everyone showed up.
