点评：Henrique is an EXCEPTIONAL guide! He is a local who knows the area and the jaguars very well. He and our boat driver Cesar made sure we were always in the best positions for optimal photography opportunities. I learned a lot about jaguar behavior, Pantanal ecology, and how tourism operates here from Henrique. He also intentionally takes the group away from the crowds every now and then to find other wildlife, but always does his best to make sure we're around for the action. In 6 days, we saw 17 individual jaguars, a variety of behaviors, enough bird species to last a lifetime, and I came away with some of the best photos of my life. You also have a great chance of spotting capybaras, caimans, giant river otters, Jabiru storks, anacondas, and endangered Hyacinth macaws on this tour. Apart from daily boat trips around the Pantanal, we also got an evening presentation from Abbie Martin, the founder of the Jaguar ID Project who talked jaguar research in the park. Henrique also led a photo editing workshop himself which was very helpful even as an experienced photographer.
Additionally, the flotel is a very nice accommodation. The food, rooms, staff, and lounge areas were top notch. We stay at this specific flotel, Barco Aguape, because it is closest to the jaguar hotspots so you don't need to boat an hour to the action every morning. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel right at home. I only wish I could have stayed longer! Thank you Henrique for a life-changing experience! I will definitely be returning.
